First and Last EPs, Country Guitar Vol. 6 and Gunpowders

I don’t know how this record came into the childhood home, but there it was and we played it often, Country Guitar Volume 6, a 7″ EP of six songs.

On side one, Chip Off The Old Block by Eddy Arnold, This Time I Would Know by The Browns, and The Other Side Of The Door by Hank Locklin.

On side two, Me And Fred And Joe And Bill by Porter Wagoner, That’s The Way The Cookie Crumbles by Johnnie and Jack, and Doggone That Train by Hank Snow.

Years later it was my own money that procured the 12″ EP Gunpowders, with six songs by Dublin band Light A Big Fire.

On side one, C.I.A., I See People, and 2 Moons.

On side two, The Boom-Boom Room, Tommy’s Got A Good Job, and You Can Love A ♀.

There are earlier versions of some of these songs at The Fanning Sessions Archive. More LABF at Airforce Amazons.
